thats pretty much my question lol

is there a known behaviour or indication i should look out for during lap time that my pig wants to take a leak as 3 of my pigs are fine but arthur wee's on me every time

ALL 4 of mine will get very fidgety and try to get away when they need a wee, the other night i had Toffee in bed with me for some TV/Cuddle time, she was laid there, curled and snuggled up asleep for about 40 mins when she started to fidget and ran to the end of my bed, So i grabbed her and put her back in the cage and she instantly sat still and had a wee :)) Then came over to the side and climbed up the bars as if to say i can come out again now haha! x

Most piggies will start to fidget. Some will tweak you or your clothing. But there are always exceptions!
Piggies also can lose control over their bladder if they fall fast asleep on your lap.

Perhaps you want to use a lap rug ot thick towel when cuddling Arthur?

One of my girls (Tia) fidgets and starts to reverse her bum off my knee to wee on the settee rolleyes.
Ruby goes crazy with her licking- she is a licky pig anyway but if she needs to wee she will eventually start to nibble as well.
Esme is a nibbler and Rosie well she just wees where she is- no warning whatsoever (shes is 7.5) so I let her off.

Most pigs have a habit, you just need to learn what it is.... Suilven reverses, Angus nibbles, Hamish starts to dance and gets fidgety. Struan has yet to we e on me. I do almost always use a lap pad, blanket or towel though to catch any poos, drips etc and keep clothes as hair free as possible.

All 5 of my girls are very good and as said above, get fidgety and nibble. We hav'nt had any spillages at all. I have on occasion fallen asleep with one of them on my shoulder (typically they fall asleep too!) when they need a pee they often nibble on my chin as if to say 'Mum wake up I need a pee!'. However my boy is very cheeky and he sort of half attempts to tell you (he would call it subtle) and has been known to have the hugest pee without any warning at all...but thats him, the alpha male....why should I possibly mind?! rolleyes

Some of mine fidget as said above, Gilbert when he needs to go you instantly know as he backs up on your leg, lifts his butt up and over the edge and lets go on the sofa/floor, whatever is beneath you.

Boris leans on my belly and looks up at me when he needs a wee, or if the belly isn't available he just makes it very obvious that he is staring right at me! :)) Badger hasn't yet wee'd on me but I think he's going to be a nibbler
