Do Piggies Copy Each Others Sounds?

i know they copy behaviour, but what about sounds? mollie has recently been copying benjie's sounds. either that or she's making more sounds now she's settled and feeling more well. it's just really funny because she has quite a deep voice :)):luv:
 
I reckon they do! Stuey, our first pig, whom we call "guzzler" lets us know when he is expecting treats by making little chattering/grinding noises. He's just trying to get our attention and let us know that he will be grumpy unless we get him something :) anyway, now Poe has started developing the same habit, so we have ended up with two little pigs chattering at us for food regularly :) I have also noticed that Poe copies Stuey's chutting sounds - it sounds like he is copying him!

aww :luv: i love how they learn new things from each other. benjie never stood up at the bars until he saw mollie do it. and she learnt it from eddie :luv:
 
I only have one pig so I dunno about them copying each other, exactly, but my Kindle copies and "sings back" to all sorts of things she thinks sound a bit like her. I've heard her talk to fire engines, bells, baby birds, music, and sounds on the television or games I'm playing. She most recently decided that Anna Kendric's singing voice in "Into the Woods" was worthy of response. :lol:
 
I think ours have a competition, who can wheek the loudest at breakfast time! :)) :))
