Will guinea pigs chew up and destroy fleece beddings and cozies?

Some will try chewing them, but in my experience fleece cannot be chewed and broken easily. The pigs might pull it about with their teeth but the fleece is surprisingly tricky to damage by chewing, even with sharp piggie teeth. Cosies with cotton on can be chewed more easily, but are still not easily destroyed.

I have a few pigs who occasionally pull at the edges of their fleece or 'plump' the inside of their cosy with their teeth, but they usually leave it alone.

Mine have "tasted" the fleece in their crash pads (like they can also do with my fingers) but never broke it. They seem to like cardboard and the stick bridges better!

My 2 boys, rowdee and gavin have had a go at the fleece but not managed to eat it. they are more interested in toilet rolls, pigloo plastic and their wooden sticks. Rowdee also likes to eat my jumper! :(|)
