Do lady pigs rumblestrutt?

One of my pigglie wigglies, Oscar, rumblestrutts a lot to my older pig, Elliot and I find it quite amusing. It looks like he's doing a little dance lol, but it got me thinking...do female pigs rumblestrutt to male pigs or is just a same-sex thing?

Sows definitely rumblestrutt! Perhaps not as much as boys, but they certainly do it, especially when they feel the need to establish a pecking order!

Particularly bossy sows seem to do it virtually all day! rolleyes

I have one girlie who seems to do it to the other ladies all the time! I think it's when she's in season she does it more often, and then tries to mount them! Crazy lady xx

Pippa does rumble sometimes. She mostly does it at the other girls but I have seen her rumble at Boris too (which then set him off rolleyes )

Dindy does it quite often, especially now that there's a new boar around.

My head sow, when in season, will chase, rumblestrut & mount sows or the neutered boar she shares a cage with.
