Do guinea pigs get hiccups

Hi so I have my guinea pig Lulu who's over a year old on my bed and all of a sudden her whole body starts jumping around like if a person had hiccups she's not making any noises she's walking around acting normal but it just started

I don't know if it is hiccups but I think my checky had hiccups a bit ago I thought she was chocking at first her sides were going in and out like crazy and she was leaning backwards and forwards. I went to go grab her and she ran and stopped doing it. I assumed it was hiccups.

I have four guinea pigs and I've never seen that in any of them before so this was the first for me LOL

They definitely can, my greedy boys get hiccups when they eat too fast sometimes

Ok I feel so much better now . Like I was saying I have four guinea pigs right now and I've had guinea pigs in the past and I have never seen them have hiccups so when her have hiccups that scared me LOL

Yes, first time I was panicking but I am used to it now lol all mine had hiccups at some point

Hi, yes they can get hiccups...not all make a noise most of the time it just looks like a muscle jump...ive only ever had one piggy who had hiccups and she looked very angry at them...
