They run around and play and over exert themselves/tire themselves out? I am a new piggies parent and my new 8 week old piggies looks and acts fine but for a couple moments tonight I heard her cough after playing and running. I think she was also pausing for 10 seconds at a time between run spurts to munch on hay... so I am not sure if she choked or if she is just out of shape.

They can cough if they eat too fast or sneeze if there is something in their airways (their airways are narrow and any dust can irritate them) - that is normal.
If she is coughing/sneezing in bouts or excessively then do see a vet.

Ok thanks! She just did it that once so far. Maybe she did just choke but I'm watching her to be sure. Does running around till they get overtired ever make them cough too?

Cant say for sure - I’ve only heard my pair cough once or twice in three years and they’re always running around. It’s more likely to be something irritating the airway

My two sometimes cough from eating too fast, I got two greedy piggies x
