Do guinea pig have "bad days"?

Yesterday both my guinea pig stopped eating and they didn't squeak when I gave them veggies nor did they eat them and I started getting really worried, but today when I saw them they were squeaking and coming up to the bars of the cage for food. When I gave them their breakfast they ate it immediately then went back to popcorning. So i'm wondering if guinea pig just sometimes have days where their attitude is negative.

If guinea pigs ever stop eating/drinking and pooping I would visit the vet, but if they are eating not I would keep a very close eye on them, I would even call the vets office and ask some questions!
