Do blankets stop drafts?

I get hot very easily and have a ceiling fan (which is dusted every two days) running. I put blankets over the boys cages but leave the sides uncovered. Will this prevent the drafts from affecting them?

I would say they do as long as there are no gaps!
Just check that they don't get too hot!

Yes none at the top, I just keep the sides open.

It’s a cool room I was just worried about the sudden wind affecting them. Since two of them are dealing with upper respitory infections and taking meds/recovering.
