Does anyone know of any good diy toys for both piggies and bunnies as mine really dont like shop bought toys and always kick them in the corner of their cages

A lot of people are getting these mazes with cardboard rings. Apparently you put treats in the circles. Lots of people think they are brilliant. Also I bought 2 large wooden balls. I was going to chuck them as no one touched them, then all of a sudden they won't leave them alone.
Really cheap things amuse them. Cardboard boxes, log rolls. Very large tubes, spilt Toliet tubes.

Never thought of trying them

If you have a friendly carpet shop near you, ask them for one of the tubes from the middle of a roll of carpet (they only have to throw them away) and saw it up into different lengths. They're free, so once the piggies have trashed them you can throw them away and give them a new one.

Thank you i never knew carpet came with a cardbord tube

Papertowel rolls are great DIY toys! Cut little arrow slits in them and then stuff with hay. My boys love them. I've also heard that they can have great fun with a crinkled up paperbag, though I have not tried that myself. I imagine you could put some treats or hay in the bag too. :)

I'm going to try the papertowl roll one and the paperbag when i find one :D

get a kitchen roll and cut it up into little rings. If you slot the rings over eachother, ot forms a ball that you can put hay and treats inside of. The best thing is shoe boxes turned upside down with holes cut in for entrances, my pigs love racing through them and as long as they are pure cardboard, they are safe to chew! (Shoe boxes usually say whether they are 100% cardboard on the bottom). Pigs will spend hours going through a hay pile to find veggies too! Hope this helps! x
