Cheekypigs
Teenage Guinea Pig
I came up with this idea after having trouble with pigs nibbling the corners of their vinyl cage base.
1. Get some wide heavy-duty double-sided tape. Carpet tape is ideal.
2. Stick lengths of tape onto fleece (this is an ideal use for offcuts)
3. Cut out the fleece around the tape to make lengths of fuzzy fleece tape
4. Remove the backing and stick to whatever your pigs are nibbling.
In my experience, pigs do not like to chew fleece, it does not seem to feel nice to them. So far we have had no issues with pigs trying to chew the tape, so it protects whatever is under it.
