Dirty genital area sow

Grooming Doodles today I noticed some crusty/dirty bits around her genital area
She has not long been in season- could this be where she hasn’t cleaned herself up properly?
Or could it be an infection? I’ve read about antibiotic ointment being applied to resolve these kinds of issues
She is fine in herself and I have cleaned it off with a wet flannel

If the skin underneath is clean and dry I would just keep an eye on it for now.
If she has a sludgy bladder she might have passed a bit of sludge. Alternatively if she’s got soft poop it might be a bit grubby from that. If it is foul smelling then that might indicate an infection from either the urinary or reproductive tract requiring antibiotics. I would keep a close eye on her and take her to the vet if it reappears. Please also weigh her regularly to check on her weight
