I just gave my black sheltie piggie Paisley a bum bath and all of this came off her. I don't know if it's just dry skin and dirt or if these are static lice/hay mites. Nothing is moving on her so I know they aren't running lice, she does suffer with dry skin but doesn't itch.

Should I fully bathe to remove this stuff? I use GG manuka and neem but only bathe around once per year, should I bathe them more?

Impossible to tell without seeing this under a microscope but if piggy isnt itching excessively and has no hair loss this is probably just haydust/poop dust/ dead skin flakes- piggies can get surprisingly dusty but a quick brush is fine, no need to bathe unless there is a lot of noticeable wee or poo stuck in the fur that puggy isnt cleaning off themselves might make the skin sore :)

Yes my rex Jasper seems to get very grubby in all his fuzz, during a comb (loves it!) I’m surprised how much grotty stuff I get off him! His fur and skin look lovely apart from a little dandruff (with him having a bit of dry skin being a rex) so I’m definitely sticking to regular combs and avoiding a stressful bath at all costs! :yikes::))

You don't happen to own a microscope, do you? You could always bag it up and ask your vet to look at it under a microscope and confirm or rule out static lice. In the absence of any itching/hair loss I would be inclined to watch and wait... maybe brush more often and see what you get each time?
