Hey, so currently I have outdoor guinea pigs (my family don't like indoor animals) However as my two guinea pigs are getting bigger and want to let off my energy, I just feel like the hutch they have now is way to small. It is a two layer hutch, yet both guinea pigs hate the bottom part so they don't use it. In summer I mostly have them on the grass so they have lots of space to let their energy out (plus I get to see them popcorning ) But now its turning winter, so its getting colder and more foxes are coming in our garden. After a surprising death in our family we had to use the money for our new guinea pig shed to pay for the funeral. So I will have to wait around 3 months for the new shed. But I was thinking should I keep the hutch in the shed so they can use the hutch still until they get use to their new space. I am ordering all different types of toys and a hidey for them. As they have just been in a hutch I don't really know what to do. Also I know 3 months is a long way away until I get the shed, but right now they are in a mini shed with the hutch but we are upgrading them to a bigger shed. I know this question didn't really need the story but I just really want to know.

So sorry to hear you 've had a death in the family.

A hutch in a shed is a great idea - much safer than a hutch outdoors. My guineas are in a hutch in a shed. I will post some pictures when I have a bit of time
