Pepperdog
Adult Guinea Pig
just wanted to know if my observation of minty and crystal were correct in their behaviour this morning.
Its veg time and all 3 are finding out the scrummy parts first and taking them to one side to eat as normal, but minty is sat in the litter box (couldnt see what she was eating, think she had just finished something like a carrot), crystal came over to her and nudged her with her nose - cue minty weeking with discust at crystal but no eye contact. So then crystal waggles her bum a couple of times and nudges her once more, looks to go towards mintys hips and nip her but thought better of it as minty got more vocal, crystal was chirping/purring sort of noise the whole time.
I watched them and I thought that crystal was pushing her luck with minty to try and steal what minty had but as there was no food left it became a bit of posturing from crystal, but crystal didnt take matters further as minty was telling her to back off.
Am I right? Its hard to describe, I didnt feel that either pig were being aggressive just a little vocal and determined to get their point across to each other politely.
