I was just wondering if someone could tell me the process, are incisor trims part of the regular appointment or classed as an operation(with anaesthetic) booked in?
I'd be grateful if someone could give me a rough idea of cost an anything I need to prepare for? Any thing to look out for after wards?

Thanks

It depends on what treatment is needed. Most work can be carried out as part of the appointment, but until the vet does a thorough examination it’s not possible to say what will be needed, as all cases are different. With regards to costs, call the practice and ask for an estimate of costs. Simon and Kim are amazing vets.

Thanks, thats good to hear, so it is just the £50ish consult fee, not extra on top of that for burring unless they need sedation?

If this is a first appointment then £50+ for consultation plus the dental procedure. There is also an additional fee if piggy needs gas/sedation.

When we took Bryce 3 weeks ago, we paid around £160 for consult and conscious dental. Yesterday when we took him again, we paid around £130 for dental and a whiff of gas, no consultation fee.
