Hi all, just to preface this with she's going to the vets tomorrow.

One of our pigs had dental surgery last weekend as her back teeth were trapping her tongue. She initially improved and was back on small amounts of solids within a few days. However, she's gone downhill again in these past few days and is struggling to eat all food, even critical care on a plate (which she was happily munching on earlier in the week). There's a slight will as she'll approach stuff but seems to struggle to open her mouth. We're doing the best we can to syringe feed but it's really difficult and she pushes us away all the time. It's heartbreaking.

She appears to be in pain still (puffed up, slightly squinted eyes etc) but we were only prescribed 5 days worth of pain meds so they're all out now.

Is this still just the results of dental surgery? Has she picked up an abscess? If so is there anything we can do to check/confirm this? Any other ideas? It's just so saddening after the initial improvements.

We've been in touch with Debbie at TEAS throughout this.
