Hi all. Just been sorting the pigs and noticed that Jupiter's incisors are slightly different lengths. I will try and get a photo later on. I know that there's a possibility that this may be caused by overgrowth in the back teeth. He is still eating and his weight is stable. Just wondering if it's ok to wait a week or so to see if it corrects itself/gets worse. Or to make an appointment with the vets tomorrow for them to have a look. I'm just worried that it's not severe enough so they'll just brush it off and say keep an eye on it because it's on slight.

If his weight is stable I’d keep an eye on it for a few days. If he’s lost weight then I’d get him seen as that would mean he’s eating less hay and something is wrong.

Weight loss and slanting front teeth was the first things I noticed when Pepper had an abscess brewing. That didn’t show up for a couple of weeks.

Good luck.

I agree, keep a keen eye on his weight and how he is eating. He might have just chipped one of his teeth, monitor for now 🤞
