Elthysia
Junior Guinea Pig
I never use critical care. I mush up their normal guinea pig nuggets. The piggies usually prefer them.
Ah yes! Another good idea to try, thank you.

Hope Ragnar’s doing well @Elthysia?x
Hi, so pleased he’s doing so well!hello lovely! Yes he is! The wound is quite scab-like now which is a bit weird (As he is black colour so hard to see) but it’s all been ok. It’s been such a relief! He lost a bit of weight through the ordeal going from 1400ish to 1230ish at lowest but he’s now back and steady around 1320(ish). He’s been really sweet to me so perhaps he does know something was necessary.
his hair is regrowing so he no longer looks like Frankenstein. It’s going to take a while for the wound to be gone properly though. Kim left a stitch out so that fluid could drain if needed but he hasn’t been bothered by it or scratching/tugging it so all the things that could have gone wrong haven’t so far!
They’ve been a bit hot the last few days!
I hope Jess is doing ok, sounds likes she’s steady at the mo. She’s so sweet x
Hi, so pleased he’s doing so well!Great his weight’s stabilised and hopefully he’ll be all healed soon then, how good he’s been not to mess with his stitches bless him
(Luigi tried to eat Jess’s when she had the eye out last year!
) Hope he’s all healed soon! x
These poor piggies (and us humans!), it’s been so hot! Hope you’ve got a cooler day today like us!
Thank you, yes Jess is doing really well, so proud of her! From the conversation with Kim I thought she’d be much worse but she’s coping brilliantly!it lasts! Thanks x
