Are these ok for baby pigs or are they too high in protein? I’ve read not too many legumes?

I wouldn’t feed defrosted veg of any kind to them. They may have been blanched (part cooked) before being frozen, or have some additives in them. Best to stick to Fresh veg only.

Thanks :)

I have to admit, my boys love the odd unfrozen-frozen-pea.. they only get them on rare occasions but they really enjoy them! I believe they are picked and frozen raw, so don't need cooking, and the label doesn't admit to any additional ingredients...

My boys will go for anything that's dropped on the kitchen floor!

That’s what I thought- I’ll read the packet. I think I remember on a TV program they just went from field to frozen in like two hours or something.

I wouldn’t feed anything to my piggies that’s undergone any process (cooking or freezing). I understood all good should be unprocessed and fresh

I feed previously frozen peas, the only difference compared to a fresh pea is a slightly higher vitamin content in the frozen one.

If you buy fresh peas from the supermarket they have been previously frozen.
