Decoupage / card making anyone ?

I fancy having a go, and wondered if anyone else does it ? lots of lovely items to make and keep me out of trouble for a bit.

If you do decoupage, when you cut the items out..which order do they go in ? do you start off with the larger pieces and then finish with the smaller

I LOVE decoupage!

you pick a piece of paper with not too much going on, and tear it up into medium - sized squares. cover your object with varnish and stick them on, completely covering the object.then you cut out your favourite parts of another sheet of paper and arrange them so that it looks good. you put a layer of varnish where you want to put the smaller pieces of paper, smooth them over, and varnish the whole thing.

I make cards now and again, but don't do the decoupage thing.

It's kinda relaxing too
