Taking my 5 year old Boar named Dash to the vet tomorrow at 6pm. He's eating veggies and pellets but not eating much hay the last few days and has been looking a bit lethargic.
I think he misses his buddy Potato that went to Heaven 3 weeks ago.

Sorry to hear Dash is unwell. I hope it’s something simple.

As he’s not been eating much hay, you should step in with syringe feeding and weighing him once a day (mornings are best) to see whether the amount of top up needs adjusting.

All the best and let us know how you get on n

Yes, I started giving him critical care yesterday. I got lucky someone canceled their appointment so I was able to be slotted in..last time I needed our vet they were booked for 9 days and ended up having to use an emergency animal hospital. Unfortunately things didn't work out 😭

Thanks for your well wishes.

So sorry you lost Potato 🌈

I hope you can find out what is bothering Dash. Weigh him everyday at the same time to see if he is losing weight or not, keep a record
Sending Dash loads of healing vibes. Just a thought but do you think he is grieving and may be depressed without a little friend?

So Dash spent the night at the Vets . I picked him up today at 5pm. Bloodwork and several other tests were done.
He has a kidney stone luckily She Said its small enough for it to pass on its own. He also had a leaky eye and was given antibiotics. He's still not eating his hay so will continue to have to be syringe fed.
