Hi All,

Me and my OH are planning on extending our two boys cage this weekend by joining together an older smaller cage to give them a bit of an extra playground space and a timeout cage (inspired by Mrs Ord's tube connecting two cages together), but we doing it cage door to cage door (afraid of cracking the cage). This requires us to get a kind of ramp for them to get into and out of each cage (apologies if I'm not describing this very well). Anyway, irrelevant of that, we were going to try and pick up some wood and make the ramp ourselves, but I'm a bit concerned about a) how we could stick bits of wood together (is there a safe glue for guineas? I'm guessing small nails aren't a good idea!). and b) if there is a type of wood we should go for/avoid. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,
Jacqui

You can get one of these if you prefer.

The one thing I know to avoid is tanalised (sp) wood - arsenic is used in the process!
