Danger Of Over Feeding Veggies?

Hi everyone,

Is there a danger of over feeding veggies? What I'm saying is "is it ok to feed more than one cup a day to piggies"? Besides obesity. Please help!

Too many veggies can cause diarrhea and too much cabbage and similar greens can cause bloat x

Too much veg on a regular basis won't necessarily lead to obesity provided you don't grossly overdo it (unlike pellets), but if you feed a lot in one go, it can cause diarrhea or bloat on an unaccustomed digestive system and if you feed too much long term, it's a bit like driving a car on the wrong fuel - you can still drive, but not at optimal efficiency.

If you feed a bit more or less than a cup on ad hoc basis, it is not a problem. The cupful is just rough a guideline.
