whe you have wet stuff you have problems with fungal spores getting in to theirs and your lungs not good!
also wet = cold so need to be careful their
 
If you mean "damp bedding" from their wee then a certain amount is OK and not dangerous. However any other damp atmosphere is deffo not good for them!
 
I also change my pigs bedding at least twice a day,because damp bedding(and it does not take them long to get it wet!) can cause pad problems,respiritory and urinary infections.
 
I change my paper twice a day, top layer in the mornings whole cage in evenings - every day! I couldn't bear to leave them sitting on wet paper and hay!
