Cystophan & Oxbow Critical Care

One of my girls is on Cystophan (half capsule daily) but Amazon don’t have any to fulfil my next order - will Cystease be alright as a replacement? Not sure what the difference between them is, just know they are both used for bladder issues. My Dori has IC, so is on daily Loxicom and Cystophan for support.

Also I mix the Cystophan into a little CC but looking online the prices are horrendous 😳. Does anyone know if Oxbow are discontinuing it? Not been able to find the Fine Grind for ages now and of course that’s the one they really like! What other recovery foods do you all recommend/use? I’m not a huge fan of mushed pellets. Thanks for any help.

I don't know if it's of any interest to you but piggie parcels are selling pellets with added glucosamine that several of us have started to use.
There is a thread about it but I don't know how to link. @Guineautopia ?

Thanks for your reply! I forgot to mention that I’m already using the pellets from Piggie Parcels (hope I’ve got the name right). It just seems the prices of CC are so high right now and it’s getting harder to find stockists.

If you are feeding the joint pellets, you don’t need to feed added supplements, as the pellets have more than enough glucosamine. If you want to send me a private message at [email protected] I’ll help go through the supplements contents with you x

Just ordered some - thanks so much Amanda! This will save me syringe feeding every night and money on extra supplements too! I hope they like them now 🥰😂
 
Have you tried Hyperdrug as an alternative source of Cystopan ?
Oxbow critical care is available on Amazon but it is very expensive.

I hadn’t considered Hyperdrug, but thanks for the suggestion. I’m hoping they like the urinary support pellets I’ve just ordered from Amanda at Piggie Parcels, fingers crossed!
