Hello all - think this question got lost in my original post - Blizzard's UTI. So posting a separate thread- hope this is acceptable - thank you
Quick question - been reading a lot about cystease and it's benefits on this forum. One capsule a day - how do you administer it - with water or sprinkled over food? TIA

Hi, you are best to syringe the powder mixed with water. I can’t quite remember as it’s been a long time since I’ve used it but I think I used to mix half the contents of a cystease capsule with about 1ml of water so a full capsule with 2ml. I tried sprinkling the powder on a piece of cucumber but Emma and Ellen got wise to it and wouldn’t eat it

The powder from a mixed cystease capsule with water will last in the fridge for 2-3 days so you can make it in advance. I think I used to mix 2-3 capsules at a time

I used a small empty medicine bottle, opened 2 capsules of Cystease, shook powder into bottle added 2ml water and gave it a good shake. This mixes it better than trying to stir it up as the powder floats. As Claire says store in fridge.
we used to do this also. Keeps well in fridge
