Cystease dosages

I currently have a pig on cystease, we are giving half a capsule per day with metacam (twice daily) but he still seems to be squeaking (we have been varying dosages since may). Is there a maximum amount of cystease a guinea pig can have? I am thinking of increasing to 3/4- 1 full capsule a day to see if this can help but obviously don't want to give too much and cause him harm.

You say you’ve been varying dosages - how much metacam is he on now?

How long have you been giving him the cytease? It’s not a quick thing.
I believe one capsule is fine but your vet needs to be the one to say.

I dont have experience with cystease, but our vet OK'd oxbow joint support with glucosaime. It took a good 3 months before it seemed to start working, which it is doing quite well now So hopefully the cystease will kick in eventually.

Cystease does take a while to work. When I had piggies on cystease, I gave them one capsule a day but that was going off my vets advise

Graham is on 1 capsule a day I sprinkle it over his greens.

I have two piggies on Cystease for bladder issues. Both have 1 capsule a day, i mix it the day before use with a couple of mls of water and then give 1ml morning and evening.
