Cyst or abscess, or..?

I made this account because I found some sort of lesion on my guinea that really worries me. I'll be taking him to his vet tomorrow morning, but wanted to see if anyone could give some insight on what it could be.

You would be able to tell an abscess from the very foul smell. Hopefully it's something easy for the vet to treat but I wouldn't like to play the guessing game. Best of luck at the vets
