This is a bit of an odd request - i'm looking for someone/company that will construct a custom built indoor cage for me - but I'm at a loss of what i should search for.

Basically my current setup is 3 x 5ft x 2.5ft cages and 1 x 120cm cage sat on top of one of the 5ft cages - this is only a temp measure!.

The type of thing i want is a wooden frame constructed that spans the length of my dining room (just short of 10ft) and is around 3ft in width on two levels - this would then be separated in to 4 'compartments'

I'm kinda thinking along the lines of a two storey C&C - only with the frame constructed out of wood and using my three existing cage bases - leaving 1 area that i will use correx in. This would give all 4 of my piggie pairings around a 5ft x 3ft cage area (which is not too far off what they currently live in) but will mean all the cages will be nicely arranged in one place and would be so much easier to clean.

Both me and my partner wouldn't feel competent enough to construct this ourselves (it will be a big job) - hence why we'd need a company/handy man/carpenter to do it for us.

My initial thought was to but 4 x 140cm cages and bracket them to the wall - but this will cost around £450 to do and would mean 3 of my pairings will indeed be down-graded for their living quarters.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - ive tried typing in carpenters in to google - but I'm unsure of what id need to ask for when contacting them - when i say my request out loud i'm not sure they'd understand what i want :))

This was my cage when I had them stacked. Each cage is 28 inches by 8 feet.

I built the whole thing by myself. If you have the lumber store cut the wood for you. It's not that hard to build.

I wrote an instruction for someone who wanted to build a 6 feet cage.

I have the material list and cut size if you want to see. But they won't match the dimension you need.

I used to have a massive C&C cage - but switched to my current cages as my two storey C&C was very difficult to clean (especially the back) and i found it started to smell after only a few months.

At the time i switched though i only had 4 piggies :)) I now have 8!! While my cages are brill - their sizes mean i cant have all 8 pigs in the same room (i also have 3 girls - 2 together and 1 with a neutered male) so i have to be very careful of cage placement with my boar pairings :p

I'm not sure how i missed your reply - but your cage looks brill x) Exactly what i was looking to do only using grids/mesh instead of perspex (however i'm loving the perspex idea) - if you could email me the parts list that would be awesome! Only problem is though - i'm from the UK so some of the parts may differ slightly. My email is: soda(at)gmx.co.uk

BTW - i am loving your instructions - very easy to understand :))
