I know there are a lot of post regarding c&c cages and grids etc but I was wondering if we could put together a list of current prices. Some of the prices on previous posts are a little out of date and just as I think I might have found an affordable set up and go to the website everything has changed. Thanks for your help people, Jo

My correx was £10 an 8ft by 4ft sheet.
The grids I bought second hand though - although that price above ^^^ is excellent.

Sorry forgot to put it was Travis Perkins the builders merchants but hopefully others will have it to :-)

So pleased with this, I have been looking for some grids and saw them at wayfairers for more expensive price so waited a bit. Just logged on to forum now to ask where is cheapest at the moment and saw this..very pleased! Now just need to sort out correx. Where do most people go for theirs? I will ask at builders merchants but worried a little about explaining what I want and them not having a clue!

My hubby called it corrugated plastic, if that helps for a description! Its the board they use on for sale signs x

If you're buying the grids from Wayfair, their £24.63 special price is only on till Wednesday. If you spend over £40 you also get free postage & as soon as you register you'll get a 10% of voucher code making the grids £22.17 per pack.

I emailed two sign makers in my local town, Melton Mowbray, and both said they could order me some when they get there order from their suppliers. I paid £5 for two 4x2 bases. Bargain, all cut to size on their machine for me.

Sara10,

Have just rung up local building merchants about Antinox and they stock it, but said it would be hard to fold one way (because of how the lines run or something) so just wanted to check how you got on? Is this the same stuff?

Swiftec Antinox Black Recycled 2mm Protection Boards 2.4m x 1.2m

Thanks!

I haven't managed to get my correx yet as have slight problem.with my grids that came today! They are to big for the space I wanted them to go in. I stupidly didn't measure anywhere and didn't realise the grids were so big! I'm really stuck now as I needed the bigger cage so I could have my 2 piggies living together! I now have 2 packs of grids I can't use!

You could fix them together with tie wraps/cable ties. That way you could overlap them to fit the space you have. To be honest I've found the connectors supplied aren't as much use as I'd hoped unless I'm doing it wrong.

Ooh thanks for that, never thought of that! They need to go on a worktop I have in the utility room out of reach of the dog. Will definitely give that a go tomorrow. Was all ready for fleece shopping and going to.get domesticated with the sewing machine knocking liners up!

I got a 8ft x4ft of 5mm cortex from a local sign makers yesterday, cost me £20 quid. It didn't fit in my car so the guy put it in his estate car and delivered it to my house for me. I was impressed!
