Hello, I have just given my Guinea pig a health check and he seems to have very yellow, crusty ears as well as flaky skin all over his body. He’s not showing any signs of hair loss or loss in appetite etc so not quite sure what this could be?

A vet check is in order to determine the cause of both his flaky skin and crusty ears - they could be connected or completely separate issues.
Good luck! 😊
Thank you, the other pigs in his trio aren’t showing any signs of this so it’s very strange but I will definitely take him to the vets to be checked out 😊

If your piggie is a longer curly hair breed,eg lunkayria ,texel.they are very prone to this.i agree you need to see a vet to rule out any infection, ecotoparasites,or fungal......it may not be any of these, but it's needs to be eliminated.
Good luck.🙂

We've had teddy pigs in at the rescue in the past who both had waxy ears.
