Crust on vulva?

Hi,

My guinea pig is currently having a rough time with health problems at the moment. She due in at the vets tomorrow morning for an x-ray on her chest to look for a heart problem. However, this morning I was holding her and I just decided to check her entire body as yesterday she was covered in pee and it stained her belly fur. I noticed that her vulva is crusty and has a weird odour to it (i think it was a smell from her).

It is just a bit of dried on urine with likely a trace of calcium in it (which is the normal way of excreting any excess calcium). Nothing to worry about. Your girl should clean it off in the next piggy wash.

thank you! both of the girls have it so i will give her a little wash tonight to also try snd get rid of the pee on her belly!
