Guineapiggos

Yesterday I noticed a yellowish/off-white substance clinging to my pig's lower lip. The edges aren't attached, but the center is stuck to the skin. Upon further investigation, I found the whole crack between his upper lip and nose (don't know how else to describe it, refer to picture) was lined with the stuff. It doesn't look like cheilitis. One thought I had was boar glue, but this would be the first time I've had a problem with it. I made a quick little doodle to show where it is (orange=weird scab thing) and if I can get him to hold still (he doesn't like anything other than food near his mouth) I'll get a picture.
Does anyone know what this is? I don't know how to deal with it or if it's best left alone.

If its boar glue then I’d be tempted to leave it as it dries so hard it’ll hurt him.
Cheilitis would require a vet as it needs treatment

Do post that picture on because we can only guess!
