My guinea pig Hazel has a few pieces of crust on one of her eyes. She has no other symptoms of an illness and her eye is not crusting shut.

Does anyone know what is happening? Please give advice.

It depends on the cause of the discharge.
It could just be left over cleaning fluid - the normal milky white fluid - which she has not completely wiped away. This leaves white crusts.
Anything other all require a vet check
- Clear fluid (dries to transparent crust), grey or yellow discharge can be a sign of irritation in the eye, injury or advanced respiratory infection respectively.
