I agree, but what are you feeding daily and how much @Hila
I feed them with fresh hay that is always available to them, oxbow pellets and vegetables once a day, Lettuce cucumber pepper and Carrot
Half a pepper, quarter carrot and quarter cucumber And two and a half leaves of lettuce
For 2 boys

Donā€™t give carrot every day. It is too high in sugar and should be regarded as an occasional treat.

I have added a guide below which shows the recommended daily amounts of veg which can be fed safely each day.

If you are feeding quarter of a cucumber each day then they are possibly getting too much watery veg. Lettuce has little nutritional value and is quite watery, so donā€™t overfeed that either.

If they are having wet poops, then stop feeding all veg until the poops return back to normal.
Please do see a vet though.

Thank you very much for helping!
i will schedule an appointment with the vet as soon as possible

Cut back the cucumber. I do one disc a day about half a cm thick roughly.

Carrot once a week

Lower the lettuce amount aswell, or even better, swap it out for coriandor, better vit c and low in calcium šŸ‘

Hi!

If in doubt, please take your guinea pigs off any fresh vegetables and just on hay. See whether the poos normalise or improve noticeably within 24 hours. If they do, stay off fresh food for 24-48 hours and then gradually reintroduce veg back into the diet. Please do not overfeed veg; it should only make about 10% of the daily food intake with 1 tablespoon of pellets making the other 5%. the rest should be as much hay, hay and even more hay for long term health and a longer life span.

If the poos don't normalise, the problem returns or if your piggy is getting worse or if you are in any doubt, then please see a vet. At the moment it sounds like minor digestive upset. always switch from weighing once weekly to weighing daily at the same time if your piggy is not quite well. This helps you to monitor the actual food intake as you cannot judge by eye how much hay (which does contain vitamin C, by the way) your piggy is really eating.

They're very happy and eating great, and there's no weight loss
I've seen a change in ther poop so I was worried it might be a sign of sickness. I have an appointment today with the vet, I hope it's not too serious.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hope all goes well with the vet visit.
Let us know how you get on.
