My guinea pig looks cross eyed and I dont know if its normal, its not like extremely cross eyed but you can defintely see it, his eyes also look red in certain lights.

Hi! Could you please post a picture? Guinea pigs with a very narrow face can look like their eyes are not aligned - but then that is not required anyway as guinea pig eyes cover the sides, the above and reach much further back that human eyes. The front segment is not covered by sight but touch (whiskers) and smell (nose).
Unlike predators, prey animals do not need coordinated frontal eyesight for depth perception; they need to be able to see sharply close up and to cover a wide range to discover any movement from further away that could be a predator. ;)
Guinea Pig Facts - A Short Overview

Guinea pig eyes have a normal range from light pink to dark pink to brown and dark with reddish highlights; in flahslight some eyes can be deep red. There are no albinos, even white piggies with ruby eyes are a normal healthy breed; you can find the same eye colour with other coat colours.

Sorry I accidently used flash but I didn't want to bother him anymore after that.
They can get even more cross eyed although I was quite sure its normal I still want to make sure! :nod:charlie.webp

If his eye is looking forward that doesn't make him cross eyed its just the direction he's looking

Guinea pig eyes look a bit differently to ours as ours are set more firmly, strictly forward and and have a much more confined field of view. His is perfectly normal - he is just looking forward as much as he can in this picture.
the colour is also normal for a guinea pig.

Thank you, I was worried because from all the guinea pigs I had and currently have none have done this as much as he does.
