Crocheted blankets

Hi all a very talented friend of mine has crocheted some blankets for the boys but did I once read that things made from wool shouldn't be given to them?

Not sure how safe they are? You could always use them as a cover at nighttime or when the weather is cold

It would be a risk of their feet getting tangled on the threads

I’ve used crochet blankets over the cage as an extra layer or to cover their carrier for vet trips, but I don’t let them directly onto the crochet because they could get tangled. My boys also nibble everything and I didn’t want to risk them eating the yarn
