My mother's crochet blanket but she wants it bigger but says it's to big now

I am the same when I sew a quilt top.
I always say I am done and it's quite big enough, and then end up adding more bits - it's all part of the creative process.

My nan used to have two buggies. She would cover them up at night. Is that what your mum is doing ?
