Good Morning

We've had permission from admin to post a thread about the supportive feeds, medical supplies and supplements we now stock on our website.

We have recently opened an account with a veterinary supplier and are now able to sell a selection of guinea pig feeds, medical supplies and supplements on our website. Here's a link to our range:

GUINEA PIG HEALTH & GROOMING

We have been selling guinea pig products online since 2016 and are life long guinea pig owners. We have experience of caring for special needs and dental guinea pigs so feel we're well placed to be supplying these products. We include a link to the syringe feeding guide on the forum in with all orders so that guinea pig owners can access guidance and support should they need it.

We now stock:

Critical Care (36g sachets available now, 141g available soon)
1ml syringes
Pro-C
Bio Lapis
Leucillin Antiseptic Spray
Fibreplex
Styptic Pencil

PLEASE NOTE
Our range of medical supplies and supplements are designed to be used in conjunction with qualified veterinary advice to help your guinea pig recover following illness or surgery. Our medical supplies and supplements are not intended as a substitute for professional veterinary assessment. If you are concerned about your guinea pig's health or think they may be ill, please seek veterinary attention as a matter of urgency.

Thank you :-)

Aww thank you, you're making Albert blush 😊

A styptic pencil contains a salt that speeds up blood clotting. If you wet the pencil and gently hold it against a wound for a few seconds it'll help it to clot more quickly. In guinea pigs, the most common uses would perhaps be a nail that has been trimmed to short causing the quick to bleed or superficial wounds to ears after a fight between piggies.

Hope that helps

Thank you, that's very kind 🙂 we design most of our ranges ourselves and it's important to us to support UK businesses too so most things are made or manufactured in the UK. Our models are Humphrey and Albert and they're complete divas....sorry, professionals! 🤣
