Hi, Stripe was thoroughly enjoying his critical care (much more than emeraid) and then it got stuck in the syringe. I then tried to dislodge it and it went splat all over the cage wall. Should I use a little pin to unclog the syringe when I'm feeding him? Make it more watery? I only have one syringe so if I cut it wrong I'm out of the only syringe.

Thanks!

Maybe use warm water to try to soften and flush it. That's what I did when it got stuck. I think also if he is enjoying his cc you can put it in bowl and let him eat it

I tried putting it in a little dish and he didn't eat it, just played with the bowl.

I got a syringe in. The fiber still got stuck but if I pulled up it would go back in the syringe then I could shake it and some would come out.

He loves that stuff, he would bite the syringe for more. But he won't take it in a bowl still. He's very suspicious that I'm trying to trick him.

He is eating on his own, but he had a weight loss so obviously not enough.

Have you tried cutting the ends off the syringes?
