I was wondering what you thought a cage needed?
I think a lot of new owners on the forum might want to make sure that they're cage/hutch is standard for they're guinea pigs?
I don't kno what to look for in a cage?

Thanks x

water bottle or bowl
food bowl
some have bowl for fresh fruit and veg
correx or lino for wooden hutches (saves on a lot of scrubing and drying time)
bedding hay or fleece etc
grass or hay
newspaper/fleece/vetbed
pigloo
and a guinea pig or 27! ;)

Also, sizes are important too..
The MINIMUMS are..
2 piggies - 4' x 2'
3 piggies - 5' x 2'
4 piggies - 6' x 2'
5 piggies - 7' x 2'
and so on..

Also for how many piggies you have theyll need one of each of everything they need O0

1 piggy ~ 1 water bottle, dome/house, food bowl etc
2 piggies ~ 2 water bottles, 2 domes/houses, 2 food bowls etc

my boys get 1 each of everything, my girls have 1 food bowl(huge one)
yeah it really depends how big the hutch, cage or housing they are in O0

bob and munchie only have 1 food bowl and 1 water bottle but they are very well behaved and always eat side by side, and refuse to eat from seperate bowls

oh also they need hidey holes, such as pigloo's, tubes and arches, even cardboard boxes can b useful but dont last long

Does this mean that because i have 6 girls living togather i will need 6 water bottles as at the moment i have 2 of the biggest water bottles you can get?.. :) :(

Not necessarily - depends if they share or fight over it O0
