Since iv split the pigs up they now get seperate run time as i tried them together and they went for eachother.

at first the run time went well and craig was really happy. however now he is really timid doesnt move around and just sits there scared. I'm upset as i had him so tame and now it seems to be going and i dont know what i can do to help him. I'm worried cus he isnt getting any exercise anymore and that cant be good for him.

is there anything i can do? xx
 
Looks like poor Craig is suffering from depression a bit. Is it at all possible to split your run and have both boars out separated by mesh? Craig is obviously missing company...
 
hi wiebke i dont have a run for them i have them free range in the living room and just block certain areas off. However i put them both out the other night and they went mad at eachother.

i feel sorry for him and dont know what to do to make him happy again x hes alright when hes in his cage just when hes out for a run he doesnt seem to like it anymore xx
 
When Boris was apart from the Girls, he went in the run and they had free run of the living room, so they cudl still see/hear/smell one another.

Don't know if something similar would help your boys maybe?

It might be that the living room seems too big and scary now that he's running about on his own. Perhaps you can try and make the space he has smaller and gradually increase it.
When I started floor time in the hall with my girls I laid on the floor across the hall (effectively halving the space they had). The girls gradually came out of their hideys and started coming up to my face. Eventually they started pushing at my legs to get past me. I always lay on the floor with them for a few minutes at floortime. It's nice to see things from their perspective and they are completely unphased by my presence.
I'm sure you can bring Craig out of himself. You may even have to find a way of having both boys out but still separate. Maybe a tennis net across the middle of the room? :(|)
 
That would work as they'd still be able to interact through the mesh/ bars on Craig's run. :) Good idea.

Could you get another set of C&C grids and create a division through the room, so they can still see each other, but can't get at each other?
 
good ideas thanks again people.

iv had craig out tonight and i sat down with him and fed him some lettice. he wasnt buzzin or anything but he had a run round which was an improvement from last night. I'm going to have some more me and craig time i think try and bring him out of his little hermit shell he has reverted into xx
 
Just spend some one on one time with him, Took months for Travis to get out of his slump now he popcorns with the best of them :)) x
