Couch, Bed, Pouch Ideas

Hi,

We have two males living side by side who don't get on all that much (lots of rumble strutting) in a C&C cage. They both need somewhere to hide to get away from each other from time to time. I see ebay is littered with couches, beds, sleeping bags, cuddle cups and pouches for them, does anyone have any experience of using these or any recommendations? I'm looking for something that has a waterproof base and can be easily washed as well.

You Can put cardboard between the divider so they can't see each other. Why don't you have them both of them done, then after 6 weeks put a girl in with each one them. Or put a baby boar in with each of them.

I have two sets of boys living side by side with a correx sheet as a diver wrapped in a fleece. As for snugs, hideys etc, i think most people on the forum will agree that finding what is correct for your piggy will be a trial and error process most of the time they will be happy with an up turned cardboard box with hay in it.
I have spent a small fortune on things for them to snuggle in that the take no interest in at all.
 
My boys have loads of cosies which they adore but the overall favourite has to be their castle - perhaps give something like this a shot?

They play on top when they're feeling "sociable" or can hide inside when they're not!

Likewise. My best purchase was the Ikea bed - they love it. They also sit in the little round pads and a couple of them like the fleece tunnels. No one is in the least bit interested in cuddle sacks, and I've made about 10, so I just use them as pee pads.
 
Mine love the snuggle sacks. In fact 3 somehow managed to get in a double one yesterday! I have 2 doubles and a single snugglesack. They are all very popular.

Oh yes! The noodle stuff. I got a bath mat and pedestal mat which were made of that same stuff. I cut the bath mat in two, and use the three pieces in the areas they like to sleep. You need to watch though, as there is a version where the 'noodles' are looped. I think a piggy could catch his little chookens (legs) in them.

I got my noodle mop heads for 89p each at home and bargains...also gonna try one of those castles only problem have 2 sets of boars means 2 and four of everything...as I've said in the past more expensive than a drug habit

I agree. It's expensive when you have multiple boars. I've got 4 boars too. Lol
