Cosy Cup As A Toilet?

Hey,

I bought my guys a cosy cup for them to sleep in - however they seem to have started using it as a toilet!

Admittedly - its making for a much tidier cage, but not the purpose I bought it for!

Anyone else have this issue?

Yep, I have to empty it daily and wash them a lot too....

same here, I wasn't using their crash pads in the cage but seeing as its getting colder I thought they would appreciate the warmth but they spend a lot of time peeing and pooping in there lol

Glad I'm not the only one who has piggies that find the best place to pee and pop is on soft & fleecey things

Same thing with my cozies...
I end up having to wash then every few days...

Same here... I have 3 on rotation so there's always a clean one. At least they wash and dry quickly!

Weirdly it's only the igloo style ones that they use as a toilet. Mine have fleecy tunnels as well and they're always kept clean.
