Hi there I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on making my own cosy fleece items as I am low on funds and have some fleece spare so I was thinking of making my own, any help would be greatly appreciated (:

I find this German step-by-step photoguide with measurements useful for making my own cosies; however, the padding layer need to be thicker than shown in the picture; I prefer 4 layers of padding.

the padding is usually called batting or wadding and can be bought online or in a haberdashery store :-) i buy thick wadding rather than using several thin layers for example it comes in various weights usually measured in oz :-) I speak little german but followed those tutorials using the photos really easily :-)

I found some wadding on eBay that I think I'm going to buy so hopefully I will be making my own cosy items soon!

If you are in england abakhan sell wadding and also if you have a local market with a fabric stall they may have it
