In the c&c cage, is the correx harmful to piggies if they chew/nibble the correx?

the odd little nibble no, but alot then yes. if it's the edges, you can get plastic edging strips to fit over

I was thinking for the sides to cover it with fleece using velcro. Then it will be a fleece box (it's a kitchen insert they're be exposed to)

definitely worth a try. i hadn't thought of using velcro.

I've just tried cover it with fleece and it seems to work.

Fleece does work. I have put plastic binders on mine that you use for binding papers together. I ran out towards the end but my c+c is massive. They don't chew the binders thankfully

I use pegs to hold the fleece up the correx on the main cage part, but the kitchen will be covered soon too.
