There is so much information on here about C&C cages I get confused by it all. I now have the grids but need correx for bases, Do I go for 2mm or 4mm? I've also seen some 2x4 with 2x1 lofts, do I need to support the loft in the centre and if so how? This might seem like idiot advice but as a newbie to C&C I need to learn.

i would go for the 4mm correx. you don't have to have extra support on a loft that size, just the usual connectors and cable ties, but if you wanted to, then a wooden baton would be fine. :)

I use a cheap ground sheet under my grids Bit more mess but mine on laminate floor so doesn't matter
