Hi,
I am collecting all supplies I need and getting everything ready for when I get my guinea pigs in mid June, but I am having problems with the correx for my C&C Cage. I went to my local sign shop today and they told me that because of the size I wanted, they'd only sell it to me if I bought the 5+ sheets that they would have to order. So I had a look online and for the 4mm stuff, it either works out very expensive, there isn't the size that I need, or I have to buy 5+ sheets. I don't need that many sheets, so my question is:
Would I be able to layer 2 sheets of 2mm correx to make it as strong as 4mm correx? Or will just 2mm correx be strong enough?

Thank you :)

you can buy 4mm or 5mm proplex (non branded correx) from protection.co.uk

2mm is really flimsy but fine for cages that are supported by a floor or a table for example :-)

I brought mine from Kazoo the printing shop in Bridgetown but that was a few years ago. :)

Do you have any idea how much it cost from there, and how big was the sheet?
Thanks :)

So sorry i've not replied. I wouldn't have a clue on the cost as I can't even think what I paid. I think I had an 8ft piece but it may have been 6ft.Not much use am I. :red
