This is a bit different because it's actually for my new chicken coop! I don't have c&c piggie cages do I don't know much about correx. My new coop is great , but because of where it's placed I can't use the door at the back for cleaning. My plan is to use a piece of Correx, with sides, as you would in a cage, to put under the perches where I can't reach easily. I can then pull it out to clean. It will be 'long and thin', so I need to firm enough to pull out, but flexible enough to get out. It will be the width of the door, do shouldn't need to bend too much.

My question is, should I get 2mm or 4mm? And do you think it will work?!

Certainly an idea to try! I have a fitted correx roaming tray with higher sides and back at the bottom of our old tv cabinet that I can pull out for easy cleaning.

I would try 4mm as it will be outside and will need to be a bit more sturdy. I also have separate correx trays to remove since it's a lot easier to clean them :)

You may find that you will have to replace your correx from time to time (about every 2 years) as it tends to go brittle more quickly when used outside.
