Hi I'm looking at getting a c&c cage 2x4 for piggies. Where can I get correx from, what size thickness would people recommend and how often would I need to change it

Hello and welcome to the forum. I got my grids and correx from candcguineapigcages.co.uk because I'm a bit lazy and rubbish at making things! You still have to construct the cage but you get the right number of bits and the correx is pre-cut and scored which makes things easier. Their correx is 4mm thick. If you are sourcing the bits to make the cage individually, Wickes used to sell correx (my branch doesn't seem to anymore though) that was 2mm thick which is a bit flimsy so you would probably need to double up layers. This is assuming you're in the UK - if not hopefully someone else can advise!

Hi and welcome

I have moved your thread to our housing section.

You can order premade cage kits from a specialist supplier. Otherwise you can look for C&C grids and correx online, at signmaker outfits or in DIY shops.

This link here contains the relevant information, including where you can source ready made C&C cages with a correx liner that you can put together yourself in about a quarter of an hour: All About C & C Grid Cages Around The World
